Six alumni batches of Bulacan High School (BHS) and Marcelo H. del Pilar High School (MHPHS) will celebrate milestone anniversaries of its graduation this year: the classes of 1919 (100 years), 1959 (60 years), 1969 (50 years), 1979 (40 years), 1989 (30 years), and 1994 (25 years).
CENTENNIAL JUBILARIANS: Class of 1919
Composed of 35 members with Beatriz T. Crisostomo, valedictorian, and Feliza de Jesus, salutatorian. Principal was Moises D. Flint. The class had no graduation annual and school paper, and the list was taken from an extant graduation program.
DIAMOND JUBILARIANS: Class of 1959
Composed of 5 sections (named numerically) with total graduates of 229. Principals were Jose G. Mendoza who retired during the school year and succeeded by Aquilina R. Reyes. Renato Valencia was class valedictorian with Aniceto Lomotan as salutatorian. Valencia was also editor-in-chef of The Republic and governor of the Senior Class Organization.
GOLDEN JUBILARIANS: Class of 1969
Composed of 15 sections (numerical) of College Preparatory program and 2 sections of Vocation program with total graduates of 711 (642 College Preparatory and 69 Vocational). Principal was Aquilina R. Reyes. Honor students were: College Preparatory — Edgardo T. Lopez, valedictorian, and Angelito Samaniego, salutatorian; vocational — Luciana Arceo, valedictorian and Adoracion Guzman, salutatorian. Lopez was also editor-in-chief of The Republicand governor of the Senior Class Organization. Virgilio V. Maclang was editor of Ang Malaya.
RUBY JUBILARIANS: Class of 1979
Composed of 24 sections (numerical) with 1,366 members. Principal was Amparo Y. del Rosario. Honor students were Zaida de Jesus, valedictorian and Paul Reul C. Camiña, salutatorian. Zaida de Jesus was editor-in-chief of The Republic, Paul Reul C. Camiña of Ang Malaya. Edwin S. de Castro was governor of the Senior Class Organization.
PEARL JUBILARIANS: Class of 1989
Composed of 25 sections (named after trees) with 1,172 members, with 1 non-pilot section of 30 members, for a total of 2,202 members and 26 sections. Principal was Amparo Y. del Rosario. Honor students were Den Adrian A. de la Cruz, valedictorian and Criselda G. Ramos, salutatorian. Ramos was governor of the Senior Class Organization. Den Adrian A. de la Cruz was editor-in-chief of The Republic, and Michael T. Fajardo, Ang Malaya.
SILVER JUBILARIANS: Class 1994
Composed of 2 sections (alphabetical) with 75 members and 30 sections (numerical) with 1,470 members for a total of 1,545 members with 32 sections. Principal was Rosalina G. Santos. Honor students were: Science High Curriculum (SHC) — Regina T. Buenaventura, valedictorian and Maria Concepcion R. Pulumbarit, salutatorian; and New Secondary Education Curriculum (NSEC) — Ethel S. Cruz, valedictorian, and Narnie C. Lim, salutatorian. Ma. Rebecca R. Arcega was editor-in-chief of The Republic;Ma. Belinda N. Crisostomo of Ang Malaya. Ethel S. Cruz was governor of Senior Class Organization.
