Jubilarians 2020

Six alumni batches of Bulacan High School (BHS) and Marcelo H. del Pilar High School (MHPHS) will celebrate milestone anniversaries of its graduation this year: the classes of 1920 (100 years), 1960 (60 years), 1970 (50 years), 1980 (40 years), 1990 (30 years), and 1995 (25 years).

CENTENNIAL JUBILARIANS: Class of 1920

Composed of 3 members. The class had no graduation annual and school paper, and the list was taken from an extant graduation program.

DIAMOND JUBILARIANS: Class of 1960

Composed of 5 sections (named numerically) with total graduates of 225. Principal was Aquilina R. Reyes. Lamberto Agustin was class valedictorian with Rolando Gatmaitan as salutatorian. Agustin was also editor-in-chef of The Republic. Rolando Lorenzo was governor of the Senior Class Organization.

GOLDEN JUBILARIANS: Class of 1970

Composed of 16 sections (numerical) of College Preparatory program and 2 sections of Vocation program with total graduates of 797 (721 College Preparatory and 76 Vocational). Principal was Aquilina R. Reyes. Honor students were: College Preparatory — Victor B. Mariano, valedictorian, and Sonia S. Bulaong, salutatorian; vocational — Edgarda Calonzo, valedictorian and Marcos Avendaño, salutatorian. Mariano and Bulaong were also editor-in-chiefs of  both The Republic and Ang Malaya respectively. Dexter Andres was governor of the Senior Class Organization.

RUBY JUBILARIANS: Class of 1980

Composed of 24 sections (numerical) with 1,341 members. Principal was Amparo Y. del Rosario. Honor students were Ma. Gladys C. Cruz, valedictorian and Esmeraldo S. Cruz, salutatorian. Abelardo Q. Caparas was editor-in-chief of The Republic while Esmeraldo Cruz and Ma. Isabel C. Lopez were co-editors of Ang Malaya. Esmeraldo Cruz was also governor of the Senior Class Organization.

PEARL JUBILARIANS: Class of 1990

Composed of 26 sections (22 of which were named after trees) with 1,250 members, composed of 2 sections of the Science High Curriculum (63 members), 22 sections of the Revised Secondary Education Program (1,177 members) and 2 sections of the New Secondary Education Curriculum (70 members). Assistant Principal/Officer-in-Charge was Dominador C. Adriano. Honor students were: SHC — Edilberto R. Tan, valedictorian and Ma. Concepcion S. Cristobal, salutatorian; RSEP — Elizabeth F. Banag, valedictorian and Jennifer R. Vega, salutatorian; NSEC Pilot Class — Rita H. Reyes, outstanding graduate.  Tan was governor of the Senior Class Organization, as well as, editor-in-chief of The Republic, while Florence C. Carangan was editor-in-chief of Ang Malaya.

SILVER JUBILARIANS: Class 1995

Composed of 2 sections (alphabetical) with 62 members and 30 sections (numerical) with 1,564 members for a total of 1,626 members with 32 sections. Principal was Rosalina G. Santos. Honor students were: Science High Curriculum (SHC) — Janryll F. Fernandez, valedictorian and Janelle A. dela Cruz, salutatorian; and New Secondary Education Curriculum (NSEC) — Ma. Theresa R. Cruz, valedictorian, and Maria Rosenda R. Raymundo, salutatorian. Fernandez was both editor-in-chief of The Republic and Senior Class Organization governor; Kennedy V. Capulong was editor-in-chief of Ang Malaya.
