This year’s  gathering of all graduates of Bulacan High School (BHS), Marcelo H. del Pilar High School (MHPHS), and Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School (MHPNHS) will be held on November 30 at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Araw ng Alumni 2016 will honor this year’s jubilarians: DIAMOND (Class 1956), GOLDEN (Class 1966), RUBY (Class 1976), and SILVER (Class 1991).

In line with this years’ theme—Our History, Our Legacy—the gathering will pay tribute to distinguished alumni of Bulacan High School in different fields of endeavor and to past alumni association presidents.

MAA president Raffy de la Rosa will report on the accomplishments of the incumbent officials of the association, with special focus on the efforts of the association to renew its ties with our alma mater by renovating the PTA-Alumni Hall and transform it into a Bahay Alumni.

The annual homecoming which was started last year, will also include the elections of three new members for the MHPNHS Alumni Association (MAA) from among the four nominees chosen during the MAA Leaders Assembly held last August 27 at the Malolos Club Royale.

Nominees are Rolando Valenzuela (Class 1953), Teresita Reyes Mariano (Class 1966), Emilio DJ Jacinto (Class 1968) and Leonardo V. Surio (Class 1976). Individual information on the nominees are posted in the MAA website (mhpnhs-maa.com).

Another highlight of the affair will be the awarding of Gawad Anak ng Paaralan to different individuals and alumni groups (including faculty members of BHS/MHPHS/MHPNHS) whose deadline for nomination is October 31, 2016 (see right box).

Gawad Anak ng Paaralan is an MAA award given to individual alumni and teachers as well as alumni and faculty groups who have rendered invaluable service to the school and to the community, and have become role-models of exemplary civic consciousness and social responsibility.

MHPNHS-MAA Araw ng Alumni 2016 The second half of the program will be devoted to bonding and fellowship with matching on-stage demonstration of talents and skills, all in the name of fun and reminiscences.

All class or batch leaders are therefore enjoined to contact the MAA officers (see left box) in order to make seat/table reservations and indicate the entertainment number they want to perform on stage.
