Del Pilarians in the U.S. reunited.

What was planned as a brief orientation on the current activities and projects of the Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School Alumni Association (MAA) turned out to be a long afternoon of nostalgia and involvement.

Twenty alumni, representing eleven batches, attended Huntahan sa Amerika held at the Center of Hope on May 14, 2016 at downtown Los Angeles, California.

The event was graciously hosted by Pastor Benny Arañas and wife Aida Buluran Arañas, both members of Class 1965, in the compound of Lord of Harvest at 2707 West Temple Street.

In attendance were alumni from the following classes: 1950, 1955, 1963, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1978, 1973, and 1978.

Visiting member of the MAA board of trustees, Perfecto Martin, who acted as Huntahan moderator, discussed in detail the plan to construct a Bahay Alumni at the Sta. Cruz and Justice Jose C. de la Rama—will be turned down by the school administration.
